Distribution and Power Transformer:

Glocal Power Ltd. offers an wide range of Distribution and Power Transformers to meet the requirements of power distribution in factories, utilities, industries, commercial buildings etc. These transformers are manufactured at our factory in SAVAR.

Glocal Power Ltd. produces distrution and power transformers in her own factory. The Transformer ranges are

     -50kVA – 5 MVA Capacity

     -33kV, 11kV, 6.6kV Distribution Transformers of any vector group.

     -Oil Immersed

     -Natural Cooling (ONAN)

     -No-load and On Load tap changer for both outdoor and indoor type.

Glocal Power Ltd. maintains the total manufacturing in such a way that can ensure the reliable, efficient and long term operation of the distribution transformer.

Glocal Power Ltd. uses the raw materials such as core, conductors and transformer oils of renowned brand.

The skilled team of engineers design and monitors the production of these transformers. The workers involved in the manufacturing process are very experienced and expert.

           Distribution Transformer(100kVA to 3000kVA)

 

 

Core: The transformer core is metered cut from cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel (CRGO) of the highest quality, with stepped limb and yoke so as to obtain a maximum possible low loss magnetic circuit, clamped with heavy steel channels and tie rod.

Insulation: The dielectric circuit of transformer which isolates the magnetic and electric circuit and their parts maintaining high insulation level is formed by insulating paper, pressboards, Bakelite and transformer oil of highest quality. Insulation is class F according to IEC.

Winding: The HT and LT windings designed with low current densities, are constructed in multilayered cylindrical structures with off ducts ensuring sufficient mechanical and dielectric strength to survive under fault conditions.

Drying and Oil Filling ???

Active component of transformers (core, coil, cover) are dried in furnaces.

Description:

This range consists of transformers complying with the following specifications:

-Three-phase transformers for indoor or outdoor use (installation to be specified)

-Step down type, step-up on request.

-Rated frequency: 50Hz

-Maximum ambient temperature: 40® C

-Mineral oil immersed (Other dielectric upon request)

-Breathing Type transformers with integral feeling

-Cover bolted on tank.

-ONAN Type natural cooling.

-Standard anti-corrosion surface treatment and coating.

Color Moon Shell Gray

 

Tank: The tank is designed and constructed with mild steel along with radiators, Conservators and other features, forms a complete unit of sufficient mechanical strength and provides optimum support for heat dissipation under energized conditions.

Radiator: Radiators are built of cylindrical tubes made by bending mild steel sheets. These tubes are joined by mig-welding to make the tubes leak proof. Numbers of tubes required are calculated to provide 65®C oil temperatures rise above ambient.

Paint

Color of transformers is RAL 7001 as standard. Transformers are painted  by powder coating or spraying method. Moreover, if requested, hot-dip galvanizing tanks can be manufactured.

– 1 level indicator tube

– 1 Buchholz relay with 2 contacts (alarm and trapping)

– HV fixed plug-ing

– HV plug-in mobile connectors HN 52 S 61 (the cable characteristics should always be specified)

– 1 locking device (lock not supplied) for plug-in connector

– 1 DGPT2 relay (automation 2000)

– 1 thermostat two connectors (alarm and trapping)

– 1 dial type thermometer(with or without contact)

– 1 wiring box with terminals board for connecting optional electrical equipment(Buchholz relay, thermostat, thermometer etc)

– 1 off-circuit tapping switch with pad locking located on the cover, this switch operates on the highest rated voltage to bring the transformer to the supply voltage-actual value

-Porcelain bushing on primary and secondary sides

– 2 Earthing terminals on the cover

– 4 Bidirectional flat rollers

– 2 Lifting and untanking lugs

– 1 Rating plate to be fixed on 1 of the4 sides

– 1 Filling plug

– 1draning device

– 1 conservator

– 1 silicagel breather

5 MVA to  35 MVA Power Transformer (Voltage Level33kV) :

 

 

Description

This range consists of transformers complying with the following specification:

– three-phase transformers for indoor or outdoor use(installation to be specified)

– rated frequency:50Hz

– maximum ambient temperature: 40?C

– mineral oil immersed

– breathing type with conservator

– cover bolted on tank or welded bell type as per specification

– ONAN, ONAF cooling type

– standard anti-corrosion surface treatment and coating

 

Options

The following fittings may be provided as an option:

– 1 on-load tap changer in the main tank with:

– 1 motor drive unit fitted on tank

– 1 tap changer compartment in the conservator with a level indicator

– 1 protective relay and eventually, on request:

– 1 parallel operation device

– 1 voltage regulator with voltage drop equalizer

– 1 remote indicator of tap changer position

– Condenser bushing

– Increased creepage distance bushings

– 1 bonnet on HV bushings:

– In the air for connection by dry cables or busducts

– Oil immersed, hermetically sealed

– Winding temperature indicator by thermal image

– 1 off-circuit tappings switch with padlocking located on the cover; this switch operates on the highest rated voltage to bring the transformer to the supply voltage-actual value(generally ±5%, 3 or 5 positions)

– Porcelain bushings on the primary and secondary sides

– 2 earthing terminals

– 1 conservator with level indicator tube

– 1 silicagel breather

– 1 Buchholz relay with 2 contacts(alarm and tripping)

– 1 thermostat two contact( alarm and tripping)

– 1 dial type thermometer (without contact)

– 4 directional flat rollers

– Lifting and/or untanking lugs

– 1 rating plate

– 1 filling plug

– 1 draining device and treatment valve with sampler

– IEC standards 60076

– ISO standards 9001

Typical characteristics are indicated in the table for a few powers. They correspond to transformers of ONAN type cooling with or without tap changer.

 

It is possible to develop equipment with totally different values of voltage and rated impedance voltage. In this case, dimensions and weights are also different.

Typical dimensions and weights are indicated in the table below for mineral oil immersed transformers, completely set up with a standard type cooling. They correspond to transformers intended for systems of 7.2 to 36kV having electrical characteristics as indicated in the table.

For the voltages, other characteristics or when the transformers are immersed in other dielectric, dimensions and weights would be different, please consult us.
